The Washington Bullets have offered a contract to forward Bernard King, a free agent who last played with the New York Knicks.
The Knicks have 15 days to match the Bullets’ offer for King, who led the National Basketball Assn. in scoring in 1984-85 and has a career average of 23.7 points a game in nine seasons.
