Dave Gorrie, a former Pepperdine baseball coach, was inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Gorrie, who retired after the 1988 season, compiled a 10-year record of 409-202 and led the Waves to 5 West Coast Athletic Conference titles, 6 berths in National Collegiate Athletic Assn. tournament play and third place in the 1979 College World Series.
