Using Los Alamitos Base for Civilian Jets

Now is the Golden Opportunity!
Congress has finally decided to save the taxpayers some money by closing 30 to 60 military installations that are no longer necessary to national defense.
Our own right honorable representative, Robert E. Badham, endorses the idea and even goes so far as to say he doesn’t believe it will affect (the Marine bases at) El Toro, Tustin or Camp Pendleton but does allow that Los Alamitos may be under consideration for closing. Now, the Golden Opportunity!
Badham, the Orange County Board of Supervisors, the third special committee empaneled to search for a reliever airport can now focus their attention on utilizing Los Alamitos to that end use.
Maybe it is finally politically and economically expedient to pursue an idea whose time has come.
