Reassessments of ‘The Lost-Out Generation’

In Nikki Finke’s article it is said, “if the Lost-Out were more willing to save now and spend later, many of their personal financial problems would ease.” Speaking as one who saved for years when interest (before taxes) was less than inflation, I am further now from owning a home than I was in 1970. But my friends who borrowed up to their eyeballs made fortunes in housing.
So much for thrift.
