Hospital Turns Away Emergency Patients

Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood drastically curtailed its emergency room service Friday, turning away all patients brought by rescue ambulances, except those with obstetrical emergencies.
Ambulances will be diverted to other hospitals, including Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center in Hawthorne and Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital in Inglewood.
