Man Rents Gun, Kills Self at Target Range

A Burbank man rented a revolver and ammunition at a Van Nuys shooting range and then apparently shot himself to death, Los Angeles police said Thursday.
The body of Ghassan Jarjour, 28, was discovered on the floor of his rented shooting stall by another customer at Target Range & Gun World in the 16100 block of Cohasset Street, said Detective Phil Morritt.
Jarjour was pronounced dead at Valley Presbyterian Hospital about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday.
