Lakers Didn’t Win It, but Season Shouldn’t Be Called a Total Loss

How hard it was to avoid the feeling of embarrassment watching Laker “fans” sit on their hands for 40 minutes of basketball and then leave with more than half of the fourth quarter of an NBA championship game to be played.

The only fans who seemed to show any emotion both Friday and Sunday were Hollywood types such as Arsenio Hall who paraded in front of TV cameras.

This must make it so much more gratifying for fans in Chicago, as well as (dare I say) Detroit. We are certainly living up to our image.
