Former heavyweight boxing champion Trevor Berbick was arrested on charges of grand theft and mortgage fraud in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Berbick, 39, is accused of having a woman impersonate his wife to take out a $95,000 mortgage on his Miramar home, Ft. Lauderdale Police Sgt. John Calabro said.
Police don’t know the woman who impersonated Berbick’s wife, but are continuing the investigation, Calabro said.
