Cerritos : Jacob Park to Be Expanded With New Play Equipment

Work has begun to more than double the size of Jacob Park in Cerritos. The $375,000 project, to be completed this summer, will increase the park from 1.5 to 3.4 acres. A new playground, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and picnic tables will be added.
Existing playground equipment will be remodeled into a tot play area, and a new lighted and landscaped walkway will extend from one end of the park to the other. The park is on Jacob Avenue between Bertha and Yearling streets.
