Hawkins to Lead Mortgage Bankers

Carrie Hawkins of Pasadena has been installed as the first woman president of the California Mortgage Bankers Assn., which represents 250 member firms involved in real estate finance. The firms employ about 30,000 people in the state.
Hawkins was installed at the association’s 37th annual convention, held at the Hotel del Coronado.
She is president of Trinity Mortgage Co. in Arcadia and has been active in residential lending for 23 years.
