The Texas Rangers will play host to the 1995 All-Star game in their new $165-million stadium. . . . Montreal Expo outfielder Ivan Calderon is facing surgery on his left shoulder for the third time in the last four years. Calderon was put on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a shoulder problem that required operations in 1988 and last September. . . . The New York Yankees put outfielder Jesse Barfield (inflammation in wrist) on the 15-day disabled list and recalled infielder Pat Kelly to take his place on the roster.
