Bush’s Largess

With President Bush sprinting around the country promising billions of dollars in grain subsidies, aid and the rebuilding of an unneeded air base (Sept. 2-3), I can’t help but remember his Administration’s abhorrence to the notion of Ross Perot attempting to “buy” the presidency with his own money. It beats using taxpayers’ money.
