Man Found Shot to Death in Garage

ORANGE — Police, responding to a telephone call about gunfire heard, found a man shot to death seated in a chair inside a garage Sunday.
Sgt. Scott Staton said the unidentified man, who was described only as a Latino in his 30s, was found about 10:20 a.m. inside a garage at 565 N. Olive St. He had been shot in the upper body, Staton said.
Police were attempting to identify the dead man late Sunday. He had no wallet or other means of identification, police said.
A man was seen running from the area with a handgun, which was later found, but he escaped, Staton said.
The gunman was described as a Latino, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He wore a blue shirt and brown pants.
