James J. Collings was named president of Triple Check Financial Services, a securities broker affiliated with Triple Check Income Tax Service Inc., a Burbank-based tax-preparation service.
Collings formerly was vice president of business development for IDS Financial Services, a unit of American Express Co.
Also, Sid Gregory was named president of Triple Check Business Services, a newly formed Triple Check unit that provides financial services to business owners. Gregory formerly was vice president of franchise operations for E.K. Williams, a business services consultant.
