Van Nuys 30, Grant 7--Quarterback Chris Byfield completed 11 of 13 passes for 249 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead host Van Nuys (5-1, 3-1) past Grant (3-3, 1-2).

The Wolves led, 22-0, at halftime and increased their lead to 30-0 in the third quarter on Larry Reed’s second touchdown, a 17-yard run. He finished with 36 yards in seven carries.
