Baseball Coach at Western Resigns

Jeff Broussely, baseball coach at Western High the past two years, has resigned, Athletic Director Jim Howell said Friday.
Broussely is leaving the state.
The season before Broussely’s arrival, the Pioneers finished 3-21, 1-14 and last in the Orange League. In his first season, the team finished 7-17 and 3-11.
Last year, Broussely led the Pioneers to a third-place finish in league, posting 14-11-1 and 8-6-1 records. They lost a wild-card game to Sunny Hills in the Southern Section Division II playoffs.
