Fountain Valley 9, Edison 0--Keary Camunas pitched her second no-hitter of the year for Fountain Valley (15-8, 6-1).
In the Garden Grove League:
Pacifica 13, Santiago 0 (5, mercy)--Amanda Freed (11-2) pitched her third no-hitter of the season for No. 3 Pacifica (22-3, 9-1).
In Express League baseball:
Heritage Christian 16, Huntington Beach Claremont 5 (6, mercy)--Paul Caffrey walked twice, singled and drove in three runs for Heritage Christian (11-7, 5-0), which clinched the league title.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Hills 3, Aliso Niguel 2--The 10th-ranked Hawks (18-3, 12-0) clinched the league title as sophomore Nick Harvey homered with two out in the seventh for the go-ahead run.
In Garden Grove League boys’ tennis:
Pacifica 9, Santiago 9 (Pacifica wins on games 78-77)--With a win to take third in league, Pacifica clinches a spot in the Southern Section playoffs for the first time in 31 years.
In the Sea View League:
Corona del Mar 11, Santa Margarita 7--Taylor Dent swept at No. 1 singles as top-ranked Corona del Mar (14-2, 9-0) clinched the Sea View League title.
In Empire League boys’ volleyball:
Valencia 3, Cypress 1--Kevin Kacley’s 21 kills and six aces helped Valencia (15-2, 9-0) clinch a tie for the Empire League title after beating Cypress, 15-9, 15-8, 13-15, 15-9.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Beach 3, Laguna Hills 0--Tyler Reynard had 13 kills to lead fifth-ranked Laguna Beach (12-2, 9-0), 15-8, 16-14, 15-12.
