I can’t stop watching “Too Hot Tamales” and listening to KCRW’s “Good Food.” However, after one trip, I could stop patronizing Border Grill (“The Border Between Bold and Bland,” Restaurants, July 21).

How could those two talents turn out such mediocre food and poor service? I think the writer had it right: too much travel and not enough supervising.
