Police to Offer Tips on Crime Prevention

Residents interested in making their neighborhoods safer are invited to learn how to protect their homes and families with tips from the Simi Valley Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit on Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Police Chief Randy Adams said involvement in a Neighborhood Watch program is one of the best ways to prevent crime and build a partnership between police and the community.
The meeting, to be held at 3190 Cochran St., will focus on how to start a Neighborhood Watch program and keep it going. For more information, call Theresa Adams, Neighborhood Watch coordinator, at 583-6952.
