More than 150 Santa Ana Unified seventh- and eighth-graders will participate in the district’s intermediate school academic pentathlon. The five-hour event will kick off with intensive classroom testing, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The highlight event, the Super Quiz, will be open to the public. The Super Quiz for seventh-graders is from 9:30 to 11 a.m.; the eighth-graders’ quiz is noon to 1:30 p.m. The event takes place at the gymnasium at Villa Fundamental Intermediate School, 1441 E.
