Venus, which passed Jupiter in a spectacularly close conjunction on Tuesday, remains close to Jupiter through the end of the month. The two brilliant planets are in the west during the early evening. Venus is above Jupiter, but it is moving away from Jupiter at a rate of about one degree per day. Tonight, Venus is two degrees above Jupiter and on Monday, Venus will be six degrees above Jupiter. Saturn and Mercury are also in the lineup at 6:30 this evening.
