The Planning Commission inched forward Wednesday night on completing a review of the Downtown Specific Plan, a growth plan developed 10 years ago to keep the downtown commercial district pedestrian-friendly.
Commission Chairman Greg Vail suggested the plan be modified to better define two proposed downtown improvement projects: the traffic management plan and the civic art district urban design plan.
The commission voted unanimously to add descriptions of both proposed projects before sending the final review on to the City Council for public hearing and review.
