Saints Win Fourth Straight Cross-Country League Title

Santa Ana won its fourth consecutive Golden West League title in boys’ cross-country Thursday.
Joel Guzman finished second to lead the Saints, who won the league-championship meet with 25 points. Guzman’s time was 16 minutes 9 seconds on the three-mile course at Central Park.
Tustin’s Alonzo Smith won the race in 16:06. The Tillers finished second with 44 points, and Saddleback took third with 82. The top three teams advance to the Southern Section preliminaries next week.
