La Canada 34, San Marino 14--Chet Johnson-Blasucci rushed for 245 yards in 24 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead the Spartans (4-4, 2-1) at San Marino (1-7, 0-2).
The Spartans controlled the ball and the clock with its ground game. La Canada rushed for 366 yards, compared to 71 for the Titans.
San Marino quarterback Briton Burge completed 10 of 20 passes for 150 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown to Charlie Grimes late in the first half. He had a pass intercepted in the fourth quarter with his team trailing, 28-14.
San Marino running back Andrew Starnes pulled the Titans to within 20-14 in the third quarter with an eight-yard touchdown run. The play was set up by a 58-yard pass from Burge to Caylan Myronowicz.
