“The Living Century: The Extraordinary Lives of Ordinary People,” a new PBS series executive produced by Barbra Streisand, is looking for centenarians to profile on upcoming editions of the program.
“We want to find people with the most amazing stories to tell--those over 100 . . . have either touched history or made history,” says series creator Steven Latham.
To submit information, centenarians or their friends or relatives can go to https://www.TheLivingCentury.com and click on “Casting Call,” or e-mail Awards@The LivingCentury.
Information can also be faxed to (253) 423-3683, or mailed to: The Living Century, P.O. Box. 1197, Santa Monica, CA 90406-1197.
The information will also be used for an awards program for centenarians in 2001. In addition, stories of some of those not selected for television will be featured on the project’s Web site.
