With [the] roadbed already in place, the logical extension of the Red Line [is] through Chandler Boulevard and other east-west thoroughfares, turning north on existing tracks on Canoga Avenue and connecting with Metrolink and Amtrak at Chatsworth station. A spur could be built to the shopping centers west of Canoga. A seamless mode of transportation versus stop-and-go nonsense as advocated by the bus group.
