Motorcyclist Is Awake After Flying Crash

A motorcycle daredevil thrown from his bike in a Fourth of July stunt was awake and talking Friday as doctors upgraded his condition from critical to serious.
Bubba Blackwell was trying to jump a record 22 cars Wednesday when he crashed into the landing ramp and went flying from his bike.
He attempted the jump before a crowd of 25,000 at the Del Mar Fair.
