Northridge Gets OK to Play Football at Pierce
- Share via
Cal State Northridge has received approval from the Los Angeles Community College District board of trustees to play football at Pierce College in Woodland Hills starting in 2002.
The two-year lease is for $60,000 per year and it can be renewed annually for up to 10 years.
A portion of the fee will be used to upgrade Pierce’s stadium to Division I-AA standards.
This will be Northridge’s last season at North Campus Stadium, which will be demolished to make room for an expansion of a biotechnology complex.
