Cal Lutheran to Celebrate Bach

Cal Lutheran will host a festival next month celebrating the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
A master class in baroque music, concentrating on the vocal music of Bach, will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 10. Organist Martin Jean will perform the first of the festival’s concerts April 13 at 8 p.m.
On April 14, there will be a lecture titled “Bach’s ‘St. John Passion’ as Theology” at 1 p.m., followed by the University Symphony and the Cal Lutheran Choir at 2 p.m.
