* Ryan Wolfe, Newhall Hart: Scored 32 points, and the unseeded Indians upset No. 2 Moreno Valley Rancho Verde, 63-56, in the second round of Division I-AA playoffs.

* Doug Moore, Rancho Cucamonga: Scored 12 points, the last two on free throws with 15 seconds left, in a 74-73 upset of sixth-seeded Moreno Valley Valley View in Division I-A.

* Dane DeCasas, Mission Viejo Capistrano Valley: Scored 15 points, including game-winning basket with four seconds left to beat Santa Barbara, 57-55, in Division II-AA.

* Brett McCahon, Downey Calvary Chapel: Putback with three seconds left provided 54-52 quarterfinal upset of No. 2-seeded La Canada Flintridge Prep in Division IV-A.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

* Jessie Perazza, Yucaipa: Scored five goals, bringing her single-season state-record total to 178, in a 12-6 loss to top-seeded Riverside Arlington in Division V.
