A woman was beaten to death over the weekend, authorities said Monday.
The victim, described only as a female black adult, was discovered about 2 p.m. Sunday in a residence in the 1000 block of South White Avenue, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Oscar Butao.
“She was declared dead at the scene,” Butao said, adding that homicide investigators believed that she probably died within the 24 hours before her body was discovered.
Officials at the coroner’s office said they had no further information on the case. There are no suspects, Butao said.
